Synopsis of Teenage Construction Zone

What do you do when a friend is wasting their life away on drugs? Is it ok to use alcohol? When are you old enough to start dating or ready to start having sex? How far is too far? What does it mean to be a healthy person? How should you pick your friends? Why set goals? How do you decide what is morally right and wrong? What should you do when considering suicide? How do you deal with the pressures put on you by your friends and parents?

No matter how confusing the question, Trey Talley has an answer for young people who have an interest in their future. Teenage Construction Zone is a manual for how to navigate through your teenage years and end up with a happy and healthy future.

Teenagers are experiencing one of the most confusing and critical times of their life. This is a time in their life when habits are being formed and important decisions are being made. Just like a building in the preliminary stages of construction, they are creating a foundation on which to place the rest of their lives. Nothing can compare to the value of constructing a foundation stable enough to support your goals and dreams.

Reviews of Teenage Construction Zone
"This book drives teenagers to recognize, examine, and deal with the key decisions they face growing up in the world today. Every student and parent should read this book... After all, the decisions our students make now will determine who they will be in the future."
- Jack Graham, Pastor, Prestonwood Baptist Church

"Teens are constantly barraged by peer pressure and media glamorization of immoral behavior. Teenage Construction Zone challenges them to examine their life foundation and realize that today's choices are tomorrow's consequences."
- Al Denson, Dove Award Winner, radio host, author, and philanthropist

"Teenage Construction Zone puts forth compelling truths that motivate young people to think deeply about the choices they are making. The book gives young people a clear moral compass to follow as they navigate through their formative years. It deals with problems that face teenagers and provides realistic answers."
- Kevin Millwood, Texas Rangers Pitcher

"As a member of Team Impact, my friend Trey Talley typically tears apart everything from telephone books to concrete blocks and baseball bats. In this book, he doesn't tell you how to tear things apart. He tells you how to keep your life together. Whether you're a teenager or adult, the wisdom in these pages can help you to construct the firmest possible foundations for your life's dreams!"
- Timothy Paul Jones, Ph.D., Professor of Leadership, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Bestselling author of more than a dozen books, including The Da Vinci Codebreaker, Conspiracies and the Cross, and Misquoting Truth

"I have raised three teenagers and have been close to teenagers through ministry and church camps for over thirty years. Any time I find a tool that helps me minister to teenagers, I jump on it because there aren't many available. I want to recommend this book as one of those tools to not only help you to love teens and to understand teens, but as a tool that will help you look at the struggles that you will face and how to deal with them. It is a wonderful guide to help teenagers along the road of life. Not only will it greatly benefit you, but by applying it to your life, you'll be better equipped to help others."
- Dr. David Uth, Senior Pastor, FBC Orlando

"Foundations, so simple, yet so tough to build. With this book, Trey Talley will give the reader direction to some of the most important issues concerning life. Teenage Construction Zone is a must read for any youth who wants to build a solid footing for life."
- Guy Earle, President of Think Twice Ministries, Pastor, and Former NFL Player

"Trey is a emphatic creative leader! He is a man with a passion to inspire and challenge those around him to achieve the most that life has to offer. Teenage Construction Zone is a perfect expression of his deep desire for young people to create a life with no regrets. This book infuses those who read it with truths that can change the course of one's life. His desire to impact a generation carries him around the world to reach people of all ages with the steadfast message of hope."
- Brandon Hensley, President of Team Impact

"As a high school principal it was truly refreshing to see a creative and innovative approach to making the right choices. I tell my students and teachers, everyday you open your eyes you have two choices. Roll out or roll over, Teenage Construction Zone gives purpose to rolling out."
- David Ketcher, High School Principal in Texas

"As an educator for 27 years, I have witnessed countless teenagers building or tearing down their futures one choice at a time. Trey's book is a wonderful way to encourage positive construction. It reinforces why their decisions are important, and encourages them to do some very serious thinking. Teenage Construction Zone is a tool that will benefit all who use it."
- Libby White, Middle School Principal

"Trey does a phenomenal job of tackling the key issues in a teenager's life using Biblical principles that are applicable, practical and relevant. From the foundation to the final product, this book presents a guideline for living that I highly recommend to anyone who is a teenager, has a teenager, or works with teenagers!"
- Jordan L. Easley, Lead Student Pastor; Second Baptist Houston

"As a Pastor I have tried to teach my people and especially my youth the importance of making right choices. Taking responsibility for your actions is lacking in our culture. Trey Talley does an excellent job focusing on both. This is a book that needs to be read, not only by teenagers but adults as well."
- Rob Zinn, Ph.D., Senior Pastor, Immanuel in Highland, California

"Like the man who built his house on the sand, many people are building life on a foundation that will ultimately fail. I believe youth and youth leaders who want to build a solid life from the ground up will gain valuable insight from Trey Talley's Teenage Construction Zone."
- Jerry Cox, Executive Director; Arkansas Family Council

"Interesting, practical and clear, this book on the issues with which teenagers struggle, is a helpful tool for parents, youth workers, and teachers. And it is a book that your teenager will read, as well. Teenage Construction Zone will become a valuable resource for all who use it."
- Emil Turner, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention

"This is one motivating book! It lets teenagers know that they are in control of their lives. What they do with that power determines the life they will have. This book should be given to every teenager in our public schools. The message it carries is that important."
- Pat Allen, President, Clark County Retired Teachers Association

I remember when Trey called me and need it my help by designing the cover for his book, i could not refused on this awesome project. I believe it will be a great source for any teenager to own this book. But also i encourage parents to read it, so they can learn how to deal with their own children, on those hard teenager years. I am a father of 8 great children. We need to invest in their life as much as we can. That is why i totally recommend this book.
God Bless you all.
